Psalm 143:8 I need to hear God's loving kindness in the morning. His word in the morning is like dew on the grass. Without it I wither. With it I live assured of His presence. I need to know that He loves me. The Hebrew word for "loving kindness" is "hesed." That utterance is variously translated as "mercy," "loving kindness," "grace," or "love."
I think the best translation is "grace," but "love" or "loving kindness" is really just as good. I need to hear that in the morning when I start the day.
