Back in 1980, by God's gracious leading, I started our Navajo Ministy in order to facilitate the great Navajo people movement to Christ that had begun about 10 years earlier - and is still taking place today.
At first, I was working as a trained linguist to prepare
literacy materials so the people could learn to read
Navajo. When that job was done, I began to wonder
if there was something else God wanted me to do.
In 1991 Peggy and I were married. Together we finished the literacy work. Then in 1997 we began
writing the "Lessons From Heaven" curriculum for the training and equipping of Navajo Christians.
To date we have written over 450 lessons, and field tested them all at Ganado Glory Temple Ministries. All of the lessons were well received. All of them are strong on GRACE content, and are illustrated with a picture or a story, usually from the Old Testament. Our hope is that true knowledge of God is increased, and that people are brought closer to Jesus.
I have made, and I will bear; Even I will

It is our great passion and desire that all of these lessons be shared by family members around their kitchen tables, then copied and posted on walls, or given to friends and relatives. In this way we will have a "Bible School without walls" and every home will become a Bible School. Families will learn to come together for prayer, Bible learning, communion, and worship. Then they will learn the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Most of all we want them to learn grace, and live and walk in grace. Such a witness will produce fruit, and the people movement to Christ now taking place will blossom and burgeon.
